Can I submit a work-in-progress?

Unfortunately, only completed films will be accepted. Please ensure your film is finalized before submitting.

Are there genre restrictions?

No, Filmsolt welcomes submissions from all genres, including but not limited to drama, comedy, horror, documentary, animation, and experimental films.

Can I submit multiple entries?

Absolutely! You are welcome to submit multiple films, but each entry must be submitted individually with its corresponding fee.

We encourage submissions that push the boundaries of storytelling and embrace diverse perspectives. From thought-provoking dramas to heartwarming comedies, gripping thrillers, and experimental works, every genre is welcome. Eligibility

  • Open to filmmakers worldwide, regardless of nationality or professional background.

  • Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of submission.

  • Entries must have a runtime of 45 minutes or less, including opening and closing credits.

  • Submissions must not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.

  • All music, images, and footage included in the film must either be original, licensed, or in the public domain. Filmmakers are required to provide proof of rights clearance upon request.

  • Any unauthorized use of copyrighted content will result in disqualification without refund.


Submission Guidelines

  • Submit your entry via our official platform.

  • Accepted file formats include MP4, MOV, AVI, and MKV. Ensure your file is high-quality and ready for screening.

  • Minimum resolution requirement: 1080p.

  • All non-English films must include English subtitles.

  • It is the filmmaker’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary rights (e.g., music, archival footage, third-party content) are properly cleared.

  • The film must be an original work created by the filmmaker.

  • The film duration must not exceed 45 minutes.

  • By submitting your film, you grant the competition the right to screen and promote your work in connection with the event.

  • You agree to allow your film to be included in event promotional material, including online or print-based marketing.

  • You have the option to grant FilmSolt the permission to publish your film on our official YouTube channel for promotional purposes, with full credit to the filmmaker.
